Obituary: Chad Tate

Chad Cameron Tate, 28, of Grand Junction passed away April 12, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Chad was born in Meeker, Colo., to Tracy and Gwen Tate (now Costello.) Chad attended Grand Junction High School and St. John’s Military School in Salina, Kan., where he was graduated. Chad enjoyed time with family and friends. He had a caring heart and will be missed by many.
Chad was preceded in death by his dad, Tracy Cameron Tate; little sister Stephanie Rose Costello; grandmother Jan Hughley and grandfather Chuck Tate. Chad leaves behind his mother and stepfather, Gwen and Steve Costello of Mesa, Colo., one brother Nick Costello of Breckenridge, Colo., grandfather Herb Hughley and grandmother Marlene Tate, both of Meeker, Colo., several aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends who were there for Chad.
A casual gathering was held to remember Chad in Grand Junction at Two Rivers Plaza Tuesday, April 17. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Catholic Outreach.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
