A loving husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away Friday, March 28, 2008. He was a former electrician and owner/manager of the Valley Motel. He was 35 years old, a resident of Meeker, Colo., native of Morgan City, La., and lived in Pierre Part, La., from the time he was 8 years old. He was born Dec. 20, 1972.
A memorial will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part, La., Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Chris is survived by his wife of 12 years, Erica Landry Boudreaux; son Tyler, 10, and daughter Savannah, 5; mother Elizabeth “Betty” Blanchard Boudreaux Granier of Pierre Part; sister Terri Harnish of Austin, Texas, and two brothers, Donovan of Grand Junction, Colo., and Kevin of Baton Rouge, La.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lynn A. Boudreaux of Morgan City. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and a great Cajun chef.
Chris loved in a big way and never expected anything in return. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Like his children Tyler and Savannah said, “He was the best dad ever.”
