Sept. 16, 1953 ~ Nov. 20, 2021
Your Hug Meant the World
No one else held us so tight
Or made us feel better, and oh, so all right
No one’s eyes shined and sparkled so bright
No one’s heart radiated as much love
As our Mom, who is now flying high above.
The world lost a beloved mother, Cynthia Long Pearce, on Nov. 20, 2021, in Rangely, Colorado. She entered the world on Sept. 16, 1953, in Hayden, Colorado. Born to John Theron and Loretta Mae Wood Long.
Cindi was the “baby girl” of the family.
Cindi worked many jobs in her lifetime, but being a mother was her greatest and most rewarding achievement.
Cindi loved to do her crossword and crypto quip puzzles.
She loved her TV gameshows, the Price is Right and the Wheel of Fortune, and always watched her “stories” (soap operas).
She rarely missed watching her favorite football team, Denver Broncos, play.
Cindi loved to garden, nature and the outdoors, especially camping and fishing!
She loved music and laughter. She was always telling jokes; her favorite one was about “Moth Balls.” She had the best sense of humor. She loved animals and always had at least one to take care of. Above all, she cherished and adored all of her family and her granddaughter!
