Our sweet Mother, Dorothy Thelma Bloomfield, passed away early Thursday, May 5, 2016. Dorothy was born March 19, 1923, to Nellie Ardell Warren and George Edward Parkes.
Dorothy lived all 93 years in Meeker and Rio Blanco County. She married Charles William Bloomfield (predeceased 1999) at St. James Church and the family ranch on Flag Creek on April 21, 1946. They bought the ranch on the mesa and raised three children. Edward, married to Carolyn,…
