Gordon Franklin, 73, passed away on Oct. 6, 2016, in Grand Junction, Colo., as a result of complications related to lung cancer. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 28, 2016, at Church of Christ, 2893 Patterson Rd., Grand Junction, Colo. Gordon was born in Palisade, Colo., on Aug. 13, 1943.
