Irene Edith Myers, 97, aka “Granny,” passed away May 14, 2012, at the Rangely District Hospital. She is survived by sons Thomas Myers of Idaho, Kenneth Myers, grandson John Morrill, Jr. of Rangely, and granddaughters Christina Stephens of Grand Junction, Colo., Teresa Aman of Prattville, Ala., Rohnda Baughman of Craig, Colo., and Shannon Hartman of Rangely. Visitation will be held May 18, 2012, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. with internment at the Orchard Mesa Cemetery. Arrangements are under the caring direction of Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. A full obituary to follow in next week’s paper.
