March 5, 1957 ~ March 10, 2024
James Chris Gibbons, born in Steubenville, Ohio, in 1949, now 75, of Dinosaur, Colorado, passed into his eternal life on March 10, 2024, leaving his wife, Bonnie, of Dinosaur, and his two daughters, Michelle and husband Greg Deffinbaugh, and Rebecca and husband Luke. His life was fast, fun and full with three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Chris retired in 2010, but previously worked at Twenty Mile Coal, Deserado Mine, and Rio Blanco County Road and Bridge, he enjoyed all the relationships established during these years, and the family wishes to express their gratefulness to all his friends and neighbors for their thoughtfulness during his overwhelming, sudden departure.
