James Thomas (Tom) Eubanks
May 15, 1963 ~ June 29, 2018
James Thomas (Tom) Eubanks rolled out of this life June 29, 2018, and went straight to heaven. Tom was born May 15, 1963, the third of four sons to James Russel Eubanks and Nancy Lucky Hughes Eubanks. He was raised a “country kid” and taught early in life that chores help develop good ethics. Tom graduated from Meeker High School in 1982, enjoyed working with wood and was a top notch carpenter. A foreman told him once if it was not a safety issue, “just patch it and keep going.” Tom was irritated but did not argue, instead he worked to get better so he could reduce errors while maintaining production. Preceded in death by his mother, he is survived by his father of Silt, Colo.; brothers Torrance of Boulder, Colo., Stanley of Cortez, Colo., and Wesley of Meeker, Colo.; uncle and aunt Torrance and Connie Hughes of Meeker; many cousins, nephews and nieces. As a family we all loved Tom and we mourn his death however, he once said, “Please do not be sad when I die. God will heal me and I will take walks again with Mom like we used to do.” Celebration of life plans are pending.
