Josephine French

Josephine French was born Oct. 30, 1911, to George and Josephine Thompson in Vernal, Utah. She left us March 17, 2010, while residing in the Walbridge Wing.
Jo married Leasil French on July 2, 1927, in Ogden, Utah. They moved to Meeker in 1928, where they raised their family.
Jo worked for the school lunch program for a number of years. After leaving the school, she worked at Pioneers Hospital as a cook until she retired.
She was preceded in death by one son, Buddy, two daughters, Sharlellne Spoon and Bonnie French, and by her husband, Leasil.
She is survived by four daughters; Margaret Davis of Myton, Utah, Shirley Randall of Yukon, Okla., Betty Pritchard of Craig, Colo., and by Patsy Story (Larry) of Meeker and a total of 140 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She will be lovingly missed by all.
