June 12, 1960 ~March 1, 2024
Julie Anne Justus was born on June 12, 1960, to David and Jeanette Justus in Rangely, Colorado.
Julie, (Jules, as her friends called her), was a very strong, independent and adventurous person. She was a hard worker, and had a passion for animals. Her talents were many, and she excelled in all of them. Halloween was aafavorite holiday, and the costumes she made were amazing. She had such a knack for making any kind of a social gathering fun.
She was fiercely loyal to her family and friends, and was always willing to help with whatever was needed.
Julie attended college in Rangely, Grand Junction and Gunnison, Colorado. She earned three degrees, and secured a position with Chevron Oil Co. After Chevron closed its Grand Junction office, she started flipping houses, and eventually moved to Wyoming, where her family lived. Her goal was to live in Wapiti, Wyoming, and have a little “animal farm.” This she accomplished and loved it.
She leaves behind her mother, Jeanette Justus; brother Mike Justus and wife Jodee; niece and nephew, Nicole Prince and Logan Justus, step-niece and nephew Whitney Holder and Jonathan Holder; aunt, uncles, cousins and too many friends to mention. She was predeceased by her father, David Justus.
We will forever miss her. There will never be another Jules.
For a memorial, she would like for her family and friends to get together and talk about all the good times they shared.
“Those we love don’t go away, They walk beside us every day; unseen, unheard but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear.” ~ Alex Maclean
