Kayleen Lynn (Overton) Welch was born in Westminster, Colo., on April 12,

1976. She grew up in Meeker, Colo., and faithfully attended Faith Baptist Church. She was graduated from Meeker High School in 1995 and later graduated from Colorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely in 1997. Kayleen worked at Colowyo Coal where she met her husband Timothy Welch. They were married on Sept. 16, 2000. They lost an infant daughter, Kaylynne Genevieve, at birth in 2005. On Sept. 18, 2006, she was blessed with another daughter CherishLynn. The family moved to Gillette, Wyo., in 2015. Kayleen was a loving mother, involved with MOPS and very involved in her church. She loved the Lord with all her heart. Kayleen is survived by her daughter CherishLynn Welch, parents Jim and Andrea Overton, and sisters Michelle (Brian) Pollock, Jamie Lynn (Joshua) Gier and Rebekah Kay Overton. Memorial donations may be made to the Kayleen Welch Memorial Fund in care of Grant Mortuary. The funds will be used for the care and education of CherishLynn.
