Nov. 15, 1979 ~ Feb. 11, 2018
Kris Plate always seemed to have a smile on his face, a man who really enjoyed life. He was a UPS driver who delivered up the river for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, snowboard, or just spend time in the mountains. Many a day, people would see him fly fishing the White River on his lunch break. Kris passed away suddenly in February, tragically taken too soon, he was 38. There will be a memorial service for him March 17 at noon at the Faith Lutheran Church in Craig, 580 Green St. A fund has been set up for his daughter at Mountain Valley Bank. If you would like to contribute, it is under the Kylie Plate fund.
