Leah B. Kenney Coy, 87, of Rangely, Colo., passed away at the Rangely District Hospital on Sept. 20, 2011.
Leah was born Oct. 10, 1923, in Meeker, Colo., to Thomas and Zuva Baimbrick O’Leary.
She married James Kenney. After he passed away, she married Burl Coy. She lived her entire life in Rangely.
She is survived by her children: Mary Truitt, John Kenney and Bill Kenney of Rangely and Zuva Pachas of Denver, Colo.; sisters Betsy Hauck and Mary Eleen Lacey; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands James Kenney and Burl Coy; son Jim Kenney; brother Denny O’Leary and sister Bonnie O’Leary.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at the Rangely City Cemetery, with a viewing at the Rio Blanco Mortuary from 12:30-2:30 p.m. before services. Services were entrusted to the care of the Blackburn Rio Blanco Funeral Home.
