Lloyd Vernon Bradfield, Jr., 73, of Grandview, Missouri, passed away on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020.
Lloyed was born in Meeker, Colorado, on April 18, 1947 to Lloyd Bradfield, Sr., and Mabel (Peterson) McClain. After graduating high school, Lloyd joined the United States Army, honorably serving his country for three years. In the summer of 1969 Lloyd was joined in marriage with his wife Peggy (Miller) on June 9. Together they were blessed with five children. Lloyd earned his associate degree from DeVry University and worked for many years as a forklift operator for ISSCO, Inc. In life Lloyd was a faithful and active member of the Church of Latter-day Saints. He was also an NRA Golden Eagle, loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and horseback riding.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Bradfield, Sr., and Mabel McClain; daughter Cleta Marie Bradfield; brother Ray Bradfield; and stepsister Beverly Porter.
He leaves behind his loving wife of over 51 years, Peggy Bradfield; two sons, Glenn Bradfield and Jeremiah (Julie) Bradfield; three daughters, Juanita (Chuck) Reeves, Darla Bradfield and Babbette Bradfield; two brothers, Gary McClain of Denver, Colorado and Russell McClain of Meeker, Colorado; and seven grandchildren, Alex, Hailey, Kami, Charlie, Seth, Lee and Olivia.

A Celebration of Life was held Jan. 15, 2021 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 9 at 11 a.m. at Highland Cemetery in Meeker, Colorado.
