Jan. 10, 1966 ~ Dec. 22, 2021
Penny Pearce, 55, gained her heavenly wings on Dec. 22, 2021, at her home in Rangely, Colorado.
Penny was born in Plainview, Texas, in 1966, to Charles and Charlene Edwards. She graduated from Prairiland High School in Pattonville, Texas, where she loved to play sports and was a friend to many. Penny has been a resident of Rangely, Colorado, for the past 14 years and in that time has come to know many people she loved and cared for deeply.
She was one with a sense of humor like no other! She loved to make people laugh and she always had a good time where she went. Her children and grandchildren were the apple of her eye and time with them were her favorite moments. She stayed at home as her children grew and homeschooled them for most of their childhood. She had an imagination that made her kids’ and grandkids’ lives a fun adventure. She loved to do a lot of things in life like camping, car races, car shows, sports, reading, writing, singing, drawing, visiting new places, video games, drives down old dirt roads and most of all fishing. She was a loving friend, always there for others with a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen; her wise words and comforting arms will be missed by many!
She was preceded in death by her mother Charlene Edwards in 2007, and her brother David Edwards this past October 2021. She is survived by her father Charles Edwards of Paris, Texas; her daughter Amanda Kinney and spouse Cody; her son Nathan Pearce and spouse Alexandria; and 11 grandchildren, all of Rangely, Colorado.
Penny will have two celebrations of life: one in Paris, Texas, to be announced at a later time, and services in Rangely, Colorado, will be held on Jan. 10, her birthday, at The Elks Lodge from 5-8 p.m. Please do not wear black, she did not want that. This is the party she would have p-worded, let’s celebrate Penny’s life the way she would have wanted. Flowers and cards can be sent to 208 River Rd., Rangely, Colorado, 81648 or 80 County Road 101, Rangely, Colorado, 81648.
