Obituary: Richard J. Collins

Richard J. Collins, 81, formerly of Meeker, passed away Oct. 16, 2013 at his home in Concordia, Kan.
Richard was born in rural Cloud County, Kan., on Oct. 26, 1931.
He married Mary Anne Desilet on Oct. 9, 1965.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother-in-law and a niece.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Anne; his five children: Cathi, R.J., Candy, Clinton and Justin; one daughter-in-law, Desi; four brothers and sisters: Mary Johnson, Elaine Collins, Norman Collins and Ted Collins; and seven grandchildren: Casey, Drew, Tony, Austin, Bella, Kynzie and Finn.
He will be missed greatly.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Meadowlark Hospice Center in Clay Center, Kan.
