Tammy North was born July 9, 1965. She passed on Nov. 9, 2025. She is survived by her husband Eric North, son Michael (Kristina) North, mother Shirley Hompstead, and sisters Missy (Dan) Hering, Sue Ann (Ed) Schmitz, Judy Hompstead and her brothers, Fred (Karen) Hering, Nicholas (Vanessa) Hering, Robert (Stacy) Mason, Randy (Amy) Mason, sister-in-law Tammie (Rob) Reynolds, mother-in-law Jessie Katherine North, grandkids Ian (Erin) Sheets, Tearna (Keegan) Bangs, Riley Kendall, Pearl North, great-grandkids Emmitt Bangs, Rory Bangs (coming soon), and many nieces, nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Maclam; father, John Hering; father-in-law, Tom North; brothers, Anthony Hering and Sonny North; and sisters, Sandra Hering, Brenda Walker, and Leona Million.
Tammy loved many things in life, including her faith, the water, her family, and crafting with her great-grandbaby. Her faith was of the utmost importance to her, and she never missed a moment to thank the Lord for the wonderful things in life she had. She loved the sound of the waves crashing against the shore and the way the water washed away her worries and stress. One of her favorite places to be was on the water in her daddy’s sailboat, surrounded by her family. She loved her family with everything she had, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild, and never missed a moment to spoil them rotten. Crafting with her great-grandson was another of her favorite places to be, and oftentimes they would spend hours upon hours crafting away, laughing and enjoying each other’s company until the sun went down. Tammy was a light in her friends’ and family’s lives and a true inspiration to many. She will be missed dearly, but never forgotten.
Celebration of Life will be held on Nov. 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the White River Methodist Church in Meeker. All are welcome to come pay their respects.
