Ted was born in Meeker, Colorado, on Nov. 8, 1966, to Carrie and Ted Bina. He graduated from Meeker High School in 1985 and Mesa State College in 1987, where he earned a degree in auto mechanics.
Ted was an avid outdoorsman who always said that he was born 100 years too late; he should’ve been a cowboy. He believed nature was his church and loved hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, old Chevys, and buggy rides. He earned many impressive accomplishments for his bowling, hunting, fishing and mud racing. His legacy will live on through the lessons he taught and the love he shared. The memories made will be cherished forever. Now all of the fish and wildlife can live in peace, without having to keep an eye out for Ted.
Ted leaves behind his daughter, Mackenzie Zundel (Cameron, Ellie) and son, Tristin Bina; his “Sweets” Barb Tedesco (Jack, Ashley, Hank); sister, LaVina Reese (Larry, Audra, Gerald) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that are more like family.
A memorial service to honor Ted will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 3 p.m. at Circle Park (across the bridge), 20 5th St. Meeker, Colorado, in the pavilion.
