Wayne LaVon Johns passed away on Feb. 8, 2022, at the age of 80. Wayne was born on Aug. 9, 1941 to Fay Louise Kight and LaVon Johns in Morenci, Arizona. Wayne married Paula McKenzie in Rangely, Colorado.
Wayne enjoyed fishing, photography and daily drives to watch wildlife.
Wayne is survived by his daughter Robin Ponciano of Nevada, sons: Randall Johns of Colorado, Matthew Johns of Utah, and Scott Johns of North Carolina.
He is preceded in death by his wife Paula Johns, sons Dustin and Michael Johns, and parents Fay and LaVon Johns.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. at the Rangely Cemetery. There will be a visitation for family and friends from 12-12:30 p.m. prior to the services at the cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.AshleyValleyFuneralHome.com.
