People lined the streets in Rangely as if a parade were coming through town Monday. The parade was actually a nuclear steam generator estimated to be 23 feet wide by 400 feet long with several pilot cars and additional semi trucks in a long line of DOT compliance. Just the nuclear steam generator weighs an average of 800 tons and is 70 feet tall. The top speed is 35mph and it is routed to get onto Hwy. 40 at Dinosaur and travel into Utah. The procession made its way through Craig and Meeker before passing through Rangely.
