Thank you, Meeker! Once again the generosity of folks here in town has been soundly demonstrated in the collecting of 445 shoebox gifts for the 2022 Operation Christmas Child campaign. Each one of these shoebox gifts has been packed with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items by local churches and individuals and will be delivered into the hands of children in need throughout the world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way. For many of these children, this will be the first gift they have ever received. Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has collected and delivered more than 198 million shoebox gifts to children in more than 170 countries and territories. This year, the project expects to collect its 200 millionth gift-filled shoebox!
