Barn Fire …

Emergency crews responded to a barn fire in Meeker Wednesday. Meeker Chief of Police Phil Stubblefield said crews were “pretty sure” it started with a heat lamp. No people were hurt, but a few animals were lost. DOC WATSON PHOTO

MEEKER | New Eden Pregnancy Center in Meeker is hosting its annual pancake breakfast and silent auction on Saturday, May 12 from 7-9:30 a.m. at the Fairfield Center. Enjoy pancakes hot off the grill. $10 for adults, $5 for moms (even if your kids are grown), and $5 for kids.
