The Western Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Park District presented a district dance recital on Saturday night a part of the Christmas activities in Rangely, which included a number of activities including the annual Rangely Parade of Lights.

With the cold, snow and wind early this week, good ole Santa Claus appears to be in slightly warmer surroundings near a beach somewhere, trying to help remind Rangely parade watchers on Saturday night that winter won’t go on forever and that warmer temperatures are coming—eventually.

Tough competition for Panther wrestlers in Delta tournament

RANGELY I The Rangely High School wrestling team went on the road and found some big-school competition in Delta during the past weekend, and this weekend the Panthers will ride the bus again to Kremmling, where they will wrestle in the West Grand Invitational.

There are a lot of lighted and decorated homes and businesses in Rangely, but one of the top displays is at the Rusty and Amber Barnes residence on South Sunset. The house is spectacularly lighted, but there is more to the display than can be shown in one photograph.
