Homecoming week to begin on Monday for Rangely High students
RANGELY I Rangely High School is quickly gearing up for its 2015 Homecoming celebration. Beginning Monday, the Panthers will begin the many traditional Homecoming activities including the football team taking on the Hayden Tigers. All week long, students at Rangely Junior/Senior High School will be celebrating with spirit days.

MEEKER I The Meeker High School Student Council is in charge of Homecoming Week, which begins Monday, and, according to MHS Head Girl Madeline Amack, co-president of the council, big plans are in the works. The theme for the whole week is “Sci-Fi!”
Rangely volleyball squad hot and cold, loses the final game
RANGELY I The Rangely High School girls’ volleyball team travel to Plateau Valley on Friday and played outstanding ball in game one, came back after losing game two but fell in game five.
Meeker cross-country team ends up 10th at Eagle Valley meet
MEEKER I The Gypsum Creek Golf Course hosted the Eagle Valley Cross-County Invitational on Saturday with 18 teams in attendance, including the Meeker High School distance-running boys team, which captured 10th place overall.

RSD will seek $430,000 mill levy override in November election
RANGELY I In the coming November election Rangely voters will be deciding the future level of school funding for the Rangely School District. In August the school board, at the request of Superintendent Matt Scoggins, voted 4-1 to push a mill levy override ballot initiative.
