RANGELY | Rangely District Hospital will offer a “Mental Health First Aid” course Jan. 15-16 in Rangely. The course runs Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for an eight-hour training certification.

Early morning fire does damage to Rangely home
RANGELY I A house fire broke out early Monday morning south of Rangely, severely damaging the home and resulting in a female living at the residence being taken to Rangely District Hospital with minor injuries, the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office reported.
2013 was good year of progress in Meeker
MEEKER I It was a busy year for the Town of Meeker and, according to Town Administrator Scott Meszaros, a number of small projects were completed and some large-scale changes for the future were initiated.
Precipitation during 2013 tops annual average by 1.88 inches
MEEKER I Precipitation in Rio Blanco County surpassed its annual normal depth in early November and finished 2013 nearly two inches ahead of the average annual measurement for the area.
