Anthony Mazzola announces run for Rio Blanco Sheriff

RBC I Anthony Mazzola of Meeker, currently the chief investigator for the Ninth Judicial District Attorney’s Office, announced Nov. 25 that he will be seeking election to the office of Rio Blanco County Sheriff, to succeed long-time Sheriff Si Woodruff, who is retiring.

Meeker Parade of Lights Friday, home tour Sunday

MEEKER I There are a couple of holiday-related events this weekend to kick off the Christmas shopping season in Meeker. The second annual Meeker Parade of Lights will be held Friday with activities beginning at 5:30 p.m. in downtown Meeker.
