School district receives mystery e-mail

MEEKER I School district personnel received a rambling e-mail message last week from an unknown sender who it is speculated may be a disgruntled employee or former employee.

Interim CEO takes over at PMC for now

MEEKER I Bob Omer’s last day on the job was Friday. The outgoing CEO of Pioneers Medical Center announced his resignation in January to “pursue other opportunities in health care management.” Meanwhile, a new chief executive officer, Ken Huey, is on board at the hospital, at least temporarily.
