RANGELY — The Rangely High School golf team has a full schedule with 11 tournaments on the calendar.
After three days of practice, the team’s first tournament was hosted by Grand Valley High School at Battlement Mesa Golf Club. Sophomore Kacey Denny shot a 129 and Junior Eric Sisneros shot a 136.
The following week the Panthers participated in the Grand Junction High School tournament at the Bookcliffs Country Club. Both Panthers improved on their score with Denny shooting 107, Sisneros shooting a 127.
The following day they participated in Grand Junction Central’s tournament at Tiara Rado Golf Club. Casey Denny shot a 109, while Eric Sisneros shot a 126.
Last week the Panthers traveled to Cotton Ranch Golf Club for the tournament hosted by Battle Mountain High School, and results will be in a future edition of the newspaper.

Rangely Golf team is in its final swing of an 11-tournament schedule and the team is showing improvement in its scoring while gearing up for regionals.
The Rangely Panthers played in the Fruita Monument High School tournament hosted at Adobe Creek Golf Club Monday, Sept. 8.
Sophomore Kacey Denny scored a 99 while junior Eric Sisneros scored a 103. This is a personal best for both of our Rangely Panther golfers.
Rangely High School will host the Panther Invitational Sept. 17 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Cedar Ridges Golf Course.
