The Rangely Panthers hosted the West Grand Mustangs for homecoming last Friday. The Mustangs won 68-30, as Rangely trailed 24-16 at the end of an exciting first quarter. The Panthers collapsed in the second quarter, then managed to fight back in the second half as they added 14 points to finish the game. Coach Wilkie stated, “We feel like we are doing a lot of good things, the problem is we have not been able to do them consistently, and that has hurt us. I am proud of the fight that we showed even in a loss to a really good football team, we just need to keep growing each week.” | MATT SCOGGINS PHOTO
