Rangely’s Katelyn Brown recently competed for the USA Junior Nationals Colorado/ Wyoming All State High School Basketball team at the USA International Basketball Championship held in Columbus, Ohio, on July 8-11. Brown’s team placed second overall, losing in the championship game to the Mississippi/Louisiana team, 44-40. Brown was awarded Most Valuable Player and named as one of the five girls selected to the 1st Team All-America Squad. Brown also won the free throw and three-point individual competition held in Ohio.
