The lady Panthers traveled to Plateau Valley Friday. The White team played well for their first match. First set was close, with the girls losing 25-27, but coming back in the second set 25-16 to take it to a third set. The third set ended with Plateau Valley coming out on top 15-10. The White team played hard and gained some experience. JV played well, winning in three, 17-25, 25-10, 15-11. JV ladies had some great serving by Aspen Rhea and great play at the net by Mackenzie Cochrane, Linsley Morrill and Kassidi Brannan. Varsity played well winning in three straight sets, 25-14, 25-16 and 25-19. Some great passing and digging by Halie Elam helped contribute to some great plays by Antoinette Dorris setting up Sarah Conner who led with 13 kills. Lindzey Thacker led with some great serving, having three aces. All the ladies played hard. Thank you to all who drove to Plateau Valley to support the Lady Panthers. The lady Panthers have a busy week ahead traveling to Baggs, Wyo., on Thursday, playing at home Friday against Debeque and traveling to Grand Junction Saturday to take on Caprock.
