RANGELY | Over the past weekend, the Rangely Panther volleyball team showcased their prowess as they faced off against formidable opponents. In a remarkable display of skill, the Panthers secured a commanding victory against the North Park Wildcats. Despite a slow start and an early timeout called by Coach Terrin, Rangely quickly regrouped and maintained their focus throughout the match. The team’s determination was evident as they secured victory in three consecutive sets, with final scores of 25-12, 25-14, and 25-14.
Saturday saw the Panthers on the road, as they journeyed to Baggs, Wyoming, to take on the Little Snake River School Rattlers. Battling through a series of injuries that plagued them over the weekend, the Rangely Panthers fought valiantly. However, they fell short against the Rattlers, losing with a final score of 3-0.
Undeterred by their setback, the Rangely Panthers are now setting their sights on their upcoming league match. They are gearing up to face the Vail Mountain Gore Rangers in Vail, Colorado, on Sept. 1, 2023. The action-packed day will begin with the JV match at 4 p.m., followed by the Varsity match at 5 p.m.
