In a challenging home game, the RHS football team concluded its season with a valiant effort, despite a 8-60 loss to Vail Christian. The overall season showcased a 5-4 record, with a 3-2 league play standing.
Noteworthy performances during the season include senior Kobey Chism’s average of 92.4 yards per game and 11.3 tackles. Junior Gage Field led in receiving with an average of 37 yards per game, closely followed by junior Triston Scott at 31.5 yards per game. Chism led the team with an impressive 12 TDs, while Field added seven, and sophomore Chase Cochrane contributed six. On the defensive front, Jaxon Torsell averaged 11.5 tackles per game and caused four fumbles, while Landon Williams led the team with 5.5 sacks, and Chism secured three interceptions during the season.
The team was under the excellent guidance of head coach Keenan LeBleu, along with the support of assistant coaches Andrew Kracht, Gabe Polley and Jeremy Lohry. The future looks bright for this dedicated squad.
