On Feb. 17 the Panthers had their last regular season game at home against the Vail Christian Saints. The Saints came into the game with a 10-7 record in fourth place in the Western Slope league standings. In the first quarter, the Panthers came out on fire on both ends of the floor scoring easy transition buckets after beating the Saints press and off of quite a few forced Saints mistakes. At the end of the quarter, the Panthers were leading the Saints 13-7.
In the second quarter, the Panther offense stalled and the Saints were able to dominate the second period and the teams would go into halftime with the score 21-16 in favor of the Saints. After halftime, the Panthers would continue to fight to regain the lead in the final two quarters. In the fourth quarter, they were able to pull the game within two points. In the end, the Saints were able to hit a couple of late three-pointers and hold off the Panthers by a score of 47-41. With the loss the Panthers fell to 5-14 on the season, finishing seventh in the Western Slope league standings. Leading the way for the Panthers was Clay Allred who scored 14 points and Marcos Quintana who added eight points.
