The Rangely High School girls’ basketball team, coached by Jimmie Mergelman and Jeremy Lohry, made it to the Colorado High School Activities Association 2A “Great 8” state championships in Denver March 9-10 following a 52-45 win over Akron on March 4.
The RHS lady Panthers fell to Sedgwick County (Julesberg) 47-33 on Thursday, March 9, and then lost to Del Norte 51-47 on Friday, March 10.
The Panthers finished the season first in the 2A/1A Western Slope League with an 8-0 league record. Congratulations to the RHS lady Panthers on a fantastic season of play.
