Rangely School District held their annual PeeWee Panther Health Fair and Preschool Registration April 14. There was a great turnout with more than 50 children ages birth to five in attendance at the event. Preschool and district staff completed speech, motor and health screenings for students in attendance. Students also participated in face painting, provided by Mallorie Miller, and were entered in drawings for prizes. In addition to district staff, many community groups attended, offering gifts and activities to families. A special thanks to Rangely Community Garden, Rangely District Hospital, New Eden Pregnancy Center, CNCC Dental Hygiene, Giant Step, and the Rio Blanco Sheriff’s Department for having booths at the Health Fair. Parents of students qualifying for preschool are reminded to sign up for the 2023-24 school year prior to the start of school at upk.colorado.gov/. | COURTESY PHOTOS
