MEEKER I The Pioneers Healthcare Foundation is proud to award Pioneers Medical Center almost $115,000 to support a variety of investments in capital equipment. The list includes a new vehicle for the Walbridge Wing to transport residents to out of town appointments and various activities, a new wide-bore MRI machine, and ultrasound machines.
Additionally, the Healthcare Foundation has secured grants to address new healthcare needs due to the COVID pandemic. New telehealth technology was imperative so that patients could complete their doctors’ appointments from the comfort of their homes. This technology has been crucial during the pandemic. We have also continued to offer community services such as the cancer screening services and Meals on Wheels. We have experienced record usage in both of these programs.
2020 has been anything but traditional. We have adapted, persevered, and adjusted, and through it all, our community has kept important traditions of caring, family, and kindness. This is the spirit of Pioneers Healthcare Foundation; to help our neighbors and improve their access to local healthcare.
Pioneers Healthcare Foundation appreciates the support of our community members and our sponsors
