MEEKER | At the regular monthly board of directors meeting for Pioneers Medical Center two new members were welcomed to the board. Brian Bofinger and Todd Shults, along with re-elected members Kim Brown and Kai Turner, were sworn on to the seven-member board.
“We are thrilled to welcome Brian and Todd to board. They each will bring a great perspective. It is important to have a diverse board that represents the varying interests of our community members,” said Ken Harman, CEO for Pioneers Medical Center. “I think if you look across our board members you will see that variety. It is also important to have continuity and having Kim and Kai re-elected allows for that as well.”
Additional business at the meeting was the annual election of officers. The 2018/2019 slate of officers are: Kim Brown—President, Steve Parr—Vice President, Karolyn Michalewicz—Treasurer.
Steve Parr and Bill Jordan also sit on the PMC Board, as well as the previously mentioned Brian Bofinger, Todd Shults and Kai Turner.
“I am looking forward to PMC’s continued growth,” said newly-elected president Kim Brown. “From the growing orthopedic program to the launch of nuclear medicine and infusion therapy services to patient education programs such as diabetes education.”
Dick Welle and Mike Hoke are retiring off the board. Dick Welle served for four years, and one of those four as president. Mike Hoke served for eight years and two of those as president. “We are grateful to Dick and Mike for their service to PMC and the Meeker community. These two individuals have been dedicated to the bringing the best healthcare opportunities to our community members,” Harman said.
