MEEKER I Pioneers Medical Center is actively involved in navigating the federal and state (via CDPHE and State Board of Health) COVID-19 vaccine mandates for healthcare workers and facilities. Our administration, infection control, compliance and quality risk departments are engaged in meetings with the CDC, CDPHE, CHA and WHA daily so that we remain current with regulations.
You will find the most recent COVID-19 vaccine guidance for licensed facilities from CDPHE at https://www.theheraldtimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Mandatory-Staff-Vaccination-Guidance.pdf
PMC is compliant with the current CDPHE COVID-19 vaccine guidance.
At a state level, the emergency (temporary) rule was adopted by the Board of Health on Aug. 30, 2021. PMC has participated in both CDPHE’s Vaccine Requirement Stakeholder Meetings (Sept. 14 and Sept. 20) which were focused on reviewing red-line changes to the draft resolution along with public comment.
PMC has adopted a religious and medical exemption policy that meets CDPHE’s current guidance requirement for employees who decline the COVID-19 vaccine.
Up-to-date information can be found on the state’s website: https://healthfacilitiescommunity.blogspot.com/search/label/COVID-19
Every licensed healthcare facility in the country is working to navigate federal and their respective state COVID-19 vaccine mandates and PMC is no exception. We will continue monitoring the directives at a federal and state level and follow all applicable state and federal laws.
PMC is happy to discuss any questions you may have, please do not hesitate to reach out.
