Post election goals for Meeker Tea Party

MEEKER I Keep in touch and an eye on what our state and federal representatives are doing in the Senate and House.
• Help the voters in this area understand what is and is not in the U.S. Constitution by holding informational meetings about the constitution.
• Attend local meetings where tax money is disbursed, such as County Commissioners, Hospital Board, etc.
• Invite our representatives and senators to come to Meeker for town meetings.
• Provide information to the public on pending state and federal legislation.
• Voice concerns about infringement on personal liberty, such as invasive TSA searches at airports.
• Keep in touch with other Tea Parties.
• Encourage individuals to express themselves with letters to editors.
