Postal scam warning issued in Meeker

MEEKER I The Meeker Post Office warned that postal customers may receive bogus e-mails about a package delivery. The e-mails contain a link that, when opened, installs a malicious virus capable of stealing personal information from computers.
Postal inspectors say customers should not click on the link. Like most viruses sent by e-mail, clicking on the link will activate a virus that can steal information, such as user names, passwords and financial account information.
