Presenting the Meeker High School Class of 2025

The Class of 2025 at Meeker High School turned their tassels and tossed their caps Saturday, March 24. Meeker High School Class of 1999 alum Dominick Spencer gave the commencement speech with advice to the students to choose to be victors, not victims. “Don’t be defined by your circumstances, be the author of your own story. You are not defined by what life throws at you, but by what you throw back at life.” Meeker individuals and organizations presented the class with $169,000 in local scholarships, adding to an “unprecedented” total of $2.73 million in scholarships for the Class of 2025. In addition, Principal Amy Chinn noted that through the concurrent enrollment program with Colorado Northwestern Community College, graduates have already earned 944 college credits, a savings of more than $150,000 off their tuition costs.
