The Piceance Weed and Pest District is soliciting bids for Herbicide hand spraying and Herbicide ariel spraying. Bid packets are available by calling Chris Uphoff at 970- 379-9244 or email [email protected]. Mailed bids are due to the Board of County commissioners, P.O. Box i, Meeker, Co 81641 no later than 4:00 p.m. on March 8th, 2019. If hand delivered the bids are due no later than 11:00 a.m. on March 11th, 2019 to the County Commissioners, County Administration Building, 200 Main, Meeker, CO. The bids will be opened according to the agenda on March 11, 2019. All bids must be clearly marked “Herbicide Hand Spraying” or Herbicide Ariel Spraying” on the outside of the bid.

The Lower White River Pest Control District is accepting bid proposals for commercial
equipped applicators to spray herbicides on private land located within the District. Bids
will be opened by the Board of County Commissioners on March 18, 2019, County
Annex, 17497 State Hwy 64, Rangely, Colorado at 11:00am. For bid specifications and
time line details contact Wade Cox at 970-574-7299 for bid packets. If mailed, bid
packets are due to the Board of Commissioners, Box i, Meeker, CO 81648 no later than Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. If hand delivered the day of the bid opening (March 18th), the bids must be received no later than 11:00am by the Board of County Commissioners, County Annex, 17497 State Hwy 64, Rangely, CO. PUBLIC NOTICE
Pursuant to Title 34, Article 33, Paragraph 118, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that an application to renew the Deserado Mine Permit No. C-1981-018 for a five-year term, submitted by Blue Mountain Energy, Inc., 3607 CR 65, Rangely, CO 81648, was deemed complete for the purpose of filing. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing.
The total permitted acreage is 13,645.01, of the permit area it contains some 13,325.01 acres of federal land and 320 acres of private land. These areas are situated in T2N, R101W and T3N, RlOlW, 6th P.M, in Rio Blanco County about 8 miles northeast of the Town of Rangely. It includes lands containing all of RBC Road 65, eastern part of RBC Road 96, and western portions of RBC Road 78, and southern end of MC Road 61. The Deserado Mine Permit area lies within USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle maps entitled “Rangely NE” and “Cactus Reservoir”.
A copy of the permit revision application is available for public inspection at the Town Clerk’s office, Town Hall in Rangely. Written comments, objections, requests for informal conference, or requests for a public hearing held in the locality of the proposed mining operation for the purpose of determining whether the interests of the public and affected landowners will be protected concerning this application must be submitted to Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303)866-3567 within thirty (30) days of the last publication.

2019 BRIDGE MAINTENANCE PROJECT REQUEST FOR BID
PROJECT NAME, LOCATION AND GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK
2019 Rio Blanco County Bridge Maintenance Project. Four structures are involved: Bachmann Pit Ditch Culvert (Location A), County Road (CR) 41 Bridge (Location B), CR 43 Bridge (Location C) and CR 23A Bridge Paint (Location D). The existing structures at CR 41 and CR 43 will be repaired. Bachmann Pit Ditch Culvert will be replaced.

2019 Rio Blanco County Chip Seal Project. Work consists of seal coating and fog coating approximately 32.7 miles of County Roads in the Rangely area plus seal coating and fog coating the Rangely Annex Building public and shop parking areas. Be aware there may be other County projects in the area that may affect material transport routes and/or travel delays.
