The hearing is for the purpose of taking public comment on a Petition for Annexation of property known as Belland/Fitzgibbons Annexation which has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Meeker, Colorado and found to be in apparent compliance with the applicable provisions of law. The Town Board has adopted a Resolution setting a public hearing to be held to determine if the proposed annexation complies with the applicable requirements of law. The Applicants have additionally requested a zoning designation as Highway Commercial (HC).
Any person may appear at the hearing and present evidence upon any matter to be considered by the Board or Commission.

ERBM Meeker Recreation Center Parking Lot Asphalt Project

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Park District (“ERBM”), a political subdivision of the State of Colorado, is inviting proposals from qualified General Contractors for the Meeker Recreation Center Asphalt Project, located at 101 Ute Rd. in Meeker, Colorado.
Contractors must submit their bid proposals before 5pm on Friday, March 30th, 2018 at ERBM’s administrative office located at 101 Ute Road, Meeker, Colorado 81641; or via email at [email protected]. Bids must be clearly marked “Meeker Recreation Center Parking Lot Asphalt”. A pre-bid walkthrough of the site is highly recommended and can be scheduled by contacting Rodney Gerloff at 970-878-7420.
This is a guaranteed maximum price construction project. Bids shall designate separate costs for: (1) milling and overlay of upper parking lot (19,196 square feet); (2) milling and overlay of facility drive (11,263 square feet); and, (3) crack spot milling and overlay of lower parking lot.
Construction timing to be negotiated with contractor, ideal schedule to include recreation center maintenance week closure May 9th – 13th. ERBM reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. Each proposal shall be reviewed and considered consistent to adopted ERBM Fiscal Policies and Procedures.

Public Hearing 2_ Shirley F. Cox and Wade Ray Cox are requesting that a portion of County Road 60 be vacated in Meeker, Colorado.
Resolution 2_ Move to approve/deny Resolution 2018-09, a resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Rio Blanco County, Colorado, Vacating a Portion of County Road 60 Subject to Certain Reservations set Forth in the Resolution.
