MEEKER | Youth and adults are invited to participate in the many Halloween festivities offered by the ERBM Recreation & Park District this frightful time of year. Check out the following events for all things spooky, haunted and fun.
Tomorrow (Friday, Oct. 26), itty bitties (ages 6 and under) are invited to the Meeker Recreation Center pool for a Halloween-themed pool party from 10 a.m. to noon. Children must be accompanied in the water by someone 13 or older. Party cost is $3 for children; parent/caregiver is free.
Halloween Day—Wednesday, Oct. 31—will be our annual Pumpkins Eats ‘n Treats celebration starting at 4:30 p.m. at the downtown plaza/courthouse lawn. Youth and adults are invited to dress up in their best costume to go trick-or-treating, with treats provided by many of the local businesses. Those interested in participating in the costume parade and contest can begin lining up at 5:20 p.m., with the parade and winners announced at 5:30 p.m.
Attendees can also bring their carved Halloween pumpkin to be judged at the event (pumpkin drop-off 4-5 p.m. at the Pumpkins Eats ‘n Treats stage). Winners will be announced following the costume parade.
ERBM Recreation & Park District thanks the Meeker community for their continued support of our Halloween festivities. We hope to see you at one (or more) of these spooky events.
