RANGELY — On May 1, Rangely Regional Library hosted “Twilight, The Party.”
There were about 10 twerds, twihards, fanpires and others in attendance. There were many fun-filled activities. These included Twilight Confessions, Twilight Jeopardy and a Twilight bookmark-making station. Wendy Roberts of Just Hold Still Photography offered photos with life-sized cutouts of the main characters from the book/movie. In addition, the computer stations were set up featuring various Twilight sites with movie/book clips and information on the actors from the movie.
What would a party be without food? Guests feasted on strictly vegetarian treats and chocolate vampire lips and cookies. Many prizes were given away including books, movies, CDs, bookmarks, T-shirts and bumper stickers. Everyone also received their very own set of glow-in-the-dark vampire teeth.
The library would like to thank board member Vicki Douglas and her daughters Courtney, Heather and Tiffany for their tireless efforts and contagious enthusiasm. A special thanks also goes to Wendy Roberts for donating her time and talents. They are the reason the party was such a huge success.
