Rangely

Rangely Locals

T he wind is blowing, so it must be spring! I hope you have managed to get out and enjoy the nice days that seem to come and go this time of year.
I have a few things to share this week. The Children’s Health Fair was a success! There were 149 children who participated between Meeker and Rangely. If you missed the Fair this year and have any developmental concerns about your children, ages birth to five years, you can always call the Rio Blanco BOCES office at (970) 675-2064 and they will provide assistance.
Have you heard the Rangely Human Resource Council Carnival is going to be held on May 5? They are looking for groups who would like to earn money by hosting a booth at the carnival. If your group is interested, call Jeryl-Anne Brown at (970)629-1138.
A special welcome to the newest member of our extended family, my second cousin, who was born March 1, 2011. His name is Everett James Boren and his proud parents are Jillien Wade and Kyler Boren. He was born a little bit premature, but is doing so well and growing very fast!
Happy belated birthday to Patricia Hinkle who turned 29 on March 16. I would like to send special wishes this week to my sister, Brooke Lohse, who will celebrate her birthday on March 31 and have her baby shower on April 3. Happy birthday to Dennis Medina on April 6.
And, as always, don’t forget to contact me with news I can share. I know I missed a couple of birthdays the last couple of weeks and I apologize! I would love to hear about birthdays, anniversaries, vacations, and visitors. Give me a call at (970) 640-4412 or email [email protected].
