Several young Rangely wrestlers, including a couple high school wrestlers from Meeker, attended a one-day wrestling clinic featuring four-time Division I All-American Joe LeBlanc. LeBlanc graduated from Meeker High School where he was a three-time state champion for the Cowboys, before wrestling for the University of Wyoming Cowboys. LeBlanc will be on the eastern slope this weekend as the clinician at Pomona High School on July 6 and then in the southwest corner of the state in Cortez for a three-day camp July 10-12.
