Rangely’s “golden” child…

Thomas Jarvis had a birthday on Dec. 12, 2012, in which he turned 12. I, classmate Kassidee Brown, had a chance to interview him. His favorite hobbies are reading and building with Legos. Some of his favorite books include: Homer’s “The Odyssey,” and “The Fable Haven” series by Brandon Mull. He said it felt so great that his birthday was on a day that won’t happen for another 100 years. Thomas said it was also cool that he turned twelve on 12-12-12. He celebrated his “golden” birthday by eating pizza at Giovanni’s and receiving enough money to purchase his very own Kindle. He has two sisters: Olivia,10, and Betty, 6. His parents are Beka Gilson and Tom Jarvis.
