Rio Blanco County dispatchers were awarded the Team of the Year and Dispatch Center of the Year award by the Colorado Chapter of NENA/APCO. “We are incredibly honored to share that Rio Blanco County Dispatch was awarded Team of the Year and Dispatch Center of the Year. With nearly 20 nominations in each category—including large centers like Jeffcom, South Metro, Aurora, and Denver—this recognition means even more. We may be one of the smallest centers in Colorado, but we continue to prove that heart, grit, and teamwork can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with anyone. These awards weren’t just earned by Dispatch—they were earned by everyone at the Sheriff’s Office who supports us, pushes us, and stands with us through every call, every fire, every flood, and every long night.
